Crawley man sentenced for child sex offences

A Crawley man has been handed a suspended sentence after he pleaded guilty to child sex offences.

Joshua Humphreys, 23, of Broadfield Barton, was sentenced at Chichester Crown Court on Wednesday (February 17).

He had pleaded guilty to inciting a female child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.

He was sentenced to two years imprisonment suspended for two years, a supervision requirement for 24 months, and 240 hours of unpaid work.

In addition, a sexual harm prevention order was implemented and he was placed on the sexual offenders register for ten years.
