Crawley schoolboy arrested on suspicion of possessing knife in park

A Crawley schoolboy has been arrested following an incident at a recreation ground in Gossops Green.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “A 13-year-old boy from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife in a public place after police were called to Dormans recreation ground in Gossops Green, Crawley, at 4.39pm on Sunday (August 14).

“He has been bailed to September 25.”
