Some of the world’s top cyclists together with thousands of amateur cyclists are expected to be pedalling across the region’s roadways.

The 100-mile route starts in the Capital’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, travels through Surrey’s towns and countryside, before finishing back in London at The Mall.

There will be inevitable hold-ups for drivers around Dorking and Leatherhead, including Leith Hill.

Combined with expected heavy rainfall and gusting winds, conditions will be difficult on the road.
