Drugs crackdown continues with further raids in Horsham area

Two men were arrested after police in Horsham raided two more homes in the area yesterday (Wednesday December 2).

Officers entered properties in Cook Road, Horsham and Heath Close, Broadbridge Heath.

Two 19-year-old men were arrested: one, from Croydon, on suspicion of money laundering and the other, from Crawley, already wanted on a warrant.

The raids followed three drug warrants executed at homes in Roffey on Thursday November 26.

Inspector Clare McKnight, of Horsham’s neighbourhood policing team, said: “We will continue to use all available methods to disrupt and deter illegal drugs activity in this district.

“The cost of drugs misuse to individuals and to the community as a whole cannot be underestimated.

“We are determined to ensure that Horsham becomes a hostile environment for drug dealers and would encourage anyone with information about offenders or suspicious activity to come forward.”

They can do so by emailing 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phoning 101, quoting Operation Bullhead.

Alternatively they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
