William Bishop, 50, a farmer, of Kennel Lane, West Grinstead has been summonsed for two offences of hunting a fox with dogs contrary to the Hunting Act 2004, police said. Bishop is due to appear before Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday August 25 after being summonsed with the offence following an incident at Gay Street, Pulborough, on December 10 2019.

A police spokeswoman added: “He will also appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on October 6 summonsed with the same offence following an incident at Patching Copse, Patching, Worthing, on January 21 this year.”
