Horsham Police issue fresh alert over post Christmas burglaries

Officers are urging people to dispose of empty boxes carefully to avoid thieves pinpointing where there are luxury goods.

A spokesperson said: “Empty boxes for items such as laptops and electrical equipment can give burglars a signal that there are expensive items in your home.

“Where possible, dispose of packaging carefully by keeping it out of sight until the day rubbish is collected”
