Billy Harte, 28, and Martin Roberts, 26, both of Chichester, were jailed on June 30 for stealing from pallets outside Homebase. On June 28, the pair were seen driving a van into the Barnfield Drive store, which was found filled with gravel and timber. Both admitted attempted theft, theft, going equipped for theft, while Harte also admitted drink driving, aggravated vehicle taking and driving without insurance. Roberts was jailed for 32 weeks, Harte for 18.
