Laura Lurring, 32, of Flamsteed Heights, Eddington Hill, Crawley. pleaded guilty to driving an Audi vehicle on Broadfield Drive, Crawley, on January 22, while over the drink drive limit. She gave a breath alcohol reading of 48 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. She also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance at Crawley on the same date. She was fined £200 and banned from driving for six months.

February 8:

Georgio Dellesite, 19, of Paynesfield, Bolney, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis when required to do so by police under the Road Traffic Act 1988. The offence took place at Brighton on December 5. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for 19 months.

Keith Paterson, 45, of Rupell Rise, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW on Coldean Lane, Brighton, on January 23, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 55 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £738 and banned from driving for one year.

Vincent Rose, 49, of York Street, Tilgate, Crawley, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required to do so by police under the Road Traffic Act 1988. The offence took place at Crawley on February 8. He was fined £80 and banned from driving for one year.

February 9:

Nathan Smith, 26, of Harris Way, Broadbridge Heath, Horsham, pleaded guilty to causing £129 damage to a doorbell. The offence took place at Horsham on November 15, last year. He was fined £76.

Robert Boston, 43, of Shipley Road, Crawley, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford vehicle on Rusper Road, Crawley, on June 24, last year, while using a hand-held mobile phone. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance at Crawley on the same date. He was fined £193 and ordered to pay £110 in prosecution costs. He was banned from driving for six months.

Glen Richardson, 41, of Groomsland Drive, Billingshurst, pleaded guilty to driving a VW Golf on the M23, at Crawley, on April 14, last year, with no insurance. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for six months.

Adam Love, 20, of Archers Court, Northgate, Crawley, pleaded guilty to driving a Renault Clio, on Stephensons Way, Crawley, on April 11, last year, without due care and attention. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no licence or insurance at Crawley on the same date. He was fined £400 and banned from driving for six months.

Timothy Stained, 42, of London Road, Felbridge, Surrey, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford vehicle on London Road, East Grinstead, on January 25, while more than twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 90 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £425 and banned from driving for 23 months.

February 10:

Kieran Byrne, 19, of Shaws Road, Crawley, indicated a plea of guilty to unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm on a person. The offence took place at Crawley on January 5 last year. He also indicated a plea of guilty to threatening unlawful violence at Crawley on the same date. He was committed to Lewes Crown Court for sentencing on March 10 and released on unconditional bail.

Ellis Powell, 21, of The Furrow, Crawley Down, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford vehicle on Field Drive, Crawley, on August 20, last year, when disqualified from driving. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance at Crawley on the same date. The court made a community order with a requirement of 120 hours of unpaid work. His driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.

Wajeeh Sha, 32, of Dowdeswell Close, London, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Coachmans Drive, Broadfield, Crawley, on December 3 last year while more than three times over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 139 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for one year. The court made a community order with a requirement of 150 hours of unpaid work. He was banned from driving for 33 months.

Luiz Pereira, 46, of High Street, Billingshurst, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes vehicle on the A23 at Brighton, on May 16, last year, with cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £415 and banned from driving for one year.

Thushakaran Thurairajah, 37, of Gales Drive, Crawley, indicated a plea of guilty to fraud by attaching a skimming device to an ATM cash machine in order to obtain the bank card and pin number of the next user. He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for one year. Magistrates said the reason for the sentence was because of a previous similar conviction. The court made a community order with a requirement of 80 hours of unpaid work.

Jerome Anicet, 35, of Harlands Road, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. The offence took place at Haywards Heath on February 10. He also indicated guilty pleas to assaulting a police officer and to resisting a police officer at Haywards Heath on the same date. He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison.
