March 11:

Ashleigh Sheppard, 21, of Badgers Way, East Grinstead, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall vehicle on the A264 Copthorne Road, at Furnace Wood, on August 3, last year, with cannabis in his bloodstream. He also pleaded guilty to driving with the controlled drug Ketamine in his bloodstream, on the same date. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

Albert Lidbetter, 29, of Vinall Gardens, Broadbridge Heath, pleaded guilty to driving a Toyota vehicle on Coolham Road, Horsham, on February 25, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 45 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £268 and banned from driving for one year.

William Stanford, 34, of Lingfield Common Road, Lingfield, Surrey, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes vehicle on Station Way, Crawley, on September 16, last year, with cannabis in his bloodstream. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

March 12:

Chris Griffin, 30, of Sunnymead Station Road, Crawley Down, Crawley, pleaded guilty to resisting a police officer. The offence took place at Crawley on January 27. He was fined £120.

March 15:

Geoffrey Hodge, 58, of Western Road, Burgess Hill, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Ka on West Street, Burgess Hill, on February 26, while twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 76 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for 19 months.

Oleh Bubniv, 21, of Guildford Road, Woking, Surrey, was found guilty of driving a Suzuki vehicle on Newlands Crescent, East Grinstead, on August 19, last year, with no insurance. He was fined £660 and his driving record endorsed with eight penalty points.

Ben Lang, 33, of Cuckfield Close, Bewbush, Crawley, was found guilty of driving a Ford vehicle on Ewhurst Road, Crawley, on May 31, last year, while using a hand-held mobile phone. He was also found guilty of driving while not wearing a seatbelt at Crawley on the same date. He was fined £60 for each offence and his driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.

Craig Weller, 28, of Cooks Meadow, Rusper, Horsham, was found guilty of failing to give information to police relating to the identity of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He was fined £346 and his driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

Christopher Rivers, 64, of Park View, Horsham Road, Crawley, pleaded guilty to failing to provide information to police relating to the identity of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He was fined £440 and his driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

Jerome Martin, 32, of Dingwall Road, Croydon, pleaded guilty to being in possession of three bags of cannabis at Pease Pottage on March 2. He was given a one year conditional discharge.

Urfan Haider, 38, of Brock Road, Crawley, pleaded guilty to seven charges of sending a threatening voicemail message. The offences took place at Crawley on October 23, last year. The court made a community order with a requirement of 150 hours of unpaid work. Magistrates issued a restraining order.

Vittorio Conte, 59, of no fixed address, was found guilty of assault. The offence took place at North Terminal, Gatwick Airport, on August 22, last year. He was also found guilty of using threatening behaviour at Gatwick Airport on the same date. He was fined £240. The verdicts were proved in his absence.

Said Dupres, 26, of Weald Drive, Furnace Lane, Crawley, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. The offence took place at Crawley on August 9, last year. The court made a community order with a requirement of 200 hours of unpaid work.

March 18:

Pawel Greszata, 30, of Castle Close, Reigate, Surrey, pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan vehicle on Martyrs Avenue, Langley Green, Crawley, on February 10, while four times over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 144 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months. Magistrates said the reason for the sentence was the high reading and that a collision was involved. The court made a community order with a requirement of 125 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 32 months.

Ashley Radmall, 34, of Imberhorne Lane, East Grinstead, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis when required to do so by police under the Road Traffic Act 1988. The offence took place at Crawley on November 30, last year. The court made a community order with a requirement of 80 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 52 months.

Ali Abaoub, 25, of Portsmouth Wood, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall vehicle on London Road, Crawley, on July 19, with cannabis in his bloodstream. He also pleaded guilty to driving on Ditchling Road, Hassocks, on July 22, last year, with cannabis in his bloodstream. The court made a community order with a requirement of 100 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for three years.
