June 30:

Chelsey Gaffney, 33, of Caburn Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Wayford Close, Eastbourne, on April 11, while more than twice over the drink drive limit. She gave a breath alcohol reading of 90 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. She was fined £120 and banned from driving for 23 months.

Karl Gunter 26, of St Aubyns Road, Eastbourne, indicated a guilty plea to assaulting a police officer. He also indicated a guilty plea to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. The offences took place at Whitley Road, Eastbourne, on April 12. He was fined £80.

Nicole Stonestreet, 21, of Seaside Road, Eastbourne, indicated guilty pleas to assaulting a police offer and to threatening unlawful violence. The offences took place at Edgeland Terrace, Eastbourne, on April 8. She was committed to Lewes Crown Court for sentencing on July 28 and released on conditional bail.

Leonard Fuller, 21, of Southfield, Polegate, pleaded guilty to driving a Mitsubishi vehicle on North Street, Hellingly on April 26, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 53 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He was fined £250 and banned from driving for 16 months.

Daniel Blake, 31, of Bexhill Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW on Eastbourne Road, Polegate, on April 11, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 62 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance on the same date. He was fined a total of £640 and banned from driving for 18 months.

July 1:

Timothy Coyte, 32, of Stonehouse Drive, St Leonards, indicated a plea of guilty to stealing clothing worth £273, from Marks and Spencer at Eastbourne, on January 21. 
He also indicated a plea of guilty to stealing Adidas clothing worth £294, from Sports Direct, at the Crumbles, Eastbourne, on February 13. 
He indicated a plea of guilty to stealing Nike clothing worth £402.94, from the same Sports Direct outlet on February 15. 
The court made a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement. He was ordered to pay £567 in compensation.

Matthew Powell-Cullingford, 18, of Ringwood Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Mini Cooper on Pacific Drive, Eastbourne, on October 4, last year, with cannabis in his bloodstream. He was fined £268 and banned from driving for a year.

Staci Horne, 34, of Theobolds Green, Heathfield, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford vehicle on Seaside Road, Eastbourne, on November 24 with cocaine in her bloodstream. 
She also pleaded guilty to driving with the controlled drug benzoylecgonine in her blood stream on the same date and to driving with no licence and insurance. She was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

James Haynes, 39, of Colwood Crescent, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to stealing two bottles of vodka and a bottle of Southern Comfort, worth £49, from Waitrose, in Eastbourne, on October 29 last year. He was fined £120.

Steven Thorne, 40, of The Diplocks, Hailsham, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi A3 on Eastbourne Road, Pevensey Bay, on November 24, last year, with cannabis in his bloodstream. 
He also indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis on the same date. 
He was fined £300 and banned from driving for three years.

Jamie Russell, 28, of The Bricky, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to damaging a prisoner safety suit at Eastbourne Custody Centre on May 29. 
He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.

Luke Thornton, 31, of Lushington Road, Eastbourne, indicated guilty pleas to six charges of making indecent images of children. The charges related to three offences of making 1,048 still indecent images of children, ranging from Category A to Category C in seriousness, and to three offences of making 85 moving indecent images of children ranging from Category A - Category C in seriousness. The offences took place at Eastbourne between February 1 2014 and April 5 2019. He was committed to Lewes Crown Court for sentencing on July 29 and released on unconditional bail.

July 2:

Sophie Miller, 47, of Spring Lodge Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Jaguar car over the speed limit at Belle Hill, Bexhill, on August 5 2019. 
She was fined £200 and her driving record endorsed with three penalty points.

Victoria Hale, 44, of Command Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to charges of being in possession of heroin and crack cocaine. The offences took place at Newhaven on August 22 last year. 
She was given a nine month conditional discharge.

July 6:

Edward Chung, 35, of Branston Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to working as a security guard at McDonalds, in Terminus Road, Eastbourne, between June 28 2019 and January 8, 2020, when he was not in possession of an industry authority licence. 
He was committed to Lewes Crown Court for sentencing on August 3 and released on unconditional bail.

Reyano Leon, 28, of Lewes Road, Bromley, Kent, pleaded guilty to working as a security guard at McDonalds, in Terminus Road, Eastbourne, between May 31, 2019 and September 29, 2019, when he was not in possession of an industry authority licence. He was committed to Lewes Crown Court for sentencing on August 3 and released on unconditional bail.
