September 14:

Romica Danca, 23, of Station Road, Horsham, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place at North Street, Horsham, on August 16. He was fined £151.

Adam Harris, 34, of London Road, Hassocks, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Anne Close, Hassocks, on August 15, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 55 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance on the same date. He was fined £133 and banned from driving for 14 months.

Joshua Henderson, 23, of Whitemans Green, Cuckfield, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on the B2112 at folders lane, Burgess Hill, on August 15, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 56 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £215 and banned from driving for 14 months.

Sidharth Sharma, 26, of Alpha Road, West Green, Crawley, pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol worth £29.95 from Shop Local at Crawley on march 21. He was fined £120.

September 16:

Sophie Moroney, 31, of Millthorpe Road, Horsham, was found guilty of failing to provide information to police relating to the identity of the driver of a BMW vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence on September 30 last year. She was fined £660 and ordered to pay £620 in prosecution costs. The verdict was proved in her absence.

Sakthivel Karupaiyan, 44, of Brighton Road, Crawley, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. The offence took place at Trafalgar Gardens, Crawley on March 17. The court made a community order with a requirement of 100 hours of unpaid work and ordered him to pay £250 in prosecution costs.

Mihai Larger, 23, of Ashdown Park, Wych Cross, Forest Row, pleaded guilty to driving a Mazda vehicle on the High Street and Peglar Way, Crawley, on June 24, while almost three times over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 104 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. The court made a community order with a requirement of 80 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 25 months.

Mohammed Burshan, 18, of Gatwick Road, Northgate, Crawley, pleaded guilty to taking a Renault vehicle without the consent of the owner. The offence took place at Crawley on April 10. He also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence or insurance, at Beckett Lane, Crawley, on the same date. He was fined £300 and his driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

John Everett, 68, of Highfield Drive, Hassocks, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on College Lane, Hurstpierpoint, Hassocks, on August 18, while twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 73 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 micogrammes. He was fined £500 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Sam Carter, 32, of Burchetts Close, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to assault by beating and to causing damage to a handbag at West Sussex on October 4, last year. He also pleaded guilty to stealing an M&S credit card on September 1, last year and to committing fraud by dishonestly using the card to make purchases. The court made a community order with a requirement of 60 hours of unpaid work. Magistrates issued a restraining order.

Matthew Richards, 24, of Rosehill, Billingshurst, pleaded guilty to two charges of assault by beating. The offences took place at Billingshurst on August 13. He also pleaded guilty to causing £250 damage to a television and to using threatening behaviour at Billingshurst on the same date. He pleaded guilty to causing £100 damage to a Kindle at Billingshurst on August 12. The court made a community order with an alcohol treatment requirement.

September 21:

Sam Everitt, 31, of Layton Crescent, Croydon, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen vehicle on the A23 at Crawley on August 23, with no licence or insurance. He was fined a total of £400 and his driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

Vincent Maloney, 31, of Travel Lodge, East Grinstead, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. The offence took place at King Street, East Grinsstead, on September 18. The court made a community order and fined him £100.

Clare Cole, 36, of Findon Road, Crawley, indicated a plea of guilty to stealing two handbags worth £429.95, from T K Maxx at Crawley, on February 25. The court made a community order and fined her £25.

Richard Grundy, 59, of The Grattons, Slinfield, Horsham, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a Public Protection Notice by being drunk in a public place at Horsham on August 19. He was fined £50.

September 22:

James Shiels, 28, of The Rise, Crawley, pleaded guilty to driving a Mini Cooper on London Road, Crawley, on March 9 with cannabis and the controlled drug Benzoylecgonine in his blood stream. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no licence on the same date. He was fined £150 and banned from driving for one year.

Jean Alberthe, 21, of Southbrooke, Crawley, pleaded guilty to being in possession of a kitchen knife in a public place at Crawley on April 5. The court made a community order with a requirement of 300 hours of unpaid work.
