A Maidenbower driver has been banned from the roads for a year after pleading guilty to driving offences.
Sussex Police said Lee Errikson, 25, unemployed, of Beckford Way in Maidenbower, was arrested in Pearson Road in Pound Hill, on December 5.
He was charged with failing to comply with a preliminary impairment test, failing to provide a specimen, driving with no licence, driving with no insurance and failing to surrender to custody.
He pleaded guilty at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday December 24 and was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay a £500 fine, a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
A total of 23 people have now been convicted for drink and drug-driving related offences in Sussex since Operation Dragonfly launched on December 1.
