Mid Sussex Police vow to stamp out ‘vile’ drug dealers as officers carry out 15th warrant in eight months

Police have carried out another drugs warrant in Mid Sussex – the 15th in just eight months.

Today, February 5, Inspector Darren Taylor vowed to stamp out ‘vile’ drug dealers after police swooped on a farm in Bolney.

He said officers carried out a warrant at 10am this morning, seizing a ‘substantial amount of money’ and a quantity of drugs. One person was arrested.

Inspector Taylor said: “This is the 15th positive drugs warrant that my team has executed or been involved with.

“I’m really proud of the team and I’m really proud of what’s been achieved in Mid Sussex.”

Mid Sussex Police were assisted by officers from the neighbourhood enforcement team, tactical enforcement team and special enforcement team, Inspector Taylor said.
He slammed ‘vile’ dealers and said no good comes of people who take drugs.

Inspector Taylor added: “We see families having to witness their loved ones become criminals or worst case die of an overdose.

“It’s vile. [Drug dealers are] not welcome in Mid Sussex.”

He praised people in the area who give information which leads to warrants.

Inspector Taylor added: “I must say thank you to the residents of Mid Sussex. They’re the ones give us the information.

“We will be doing very many more drug warrants. If you sell drugs in Mid Sussex we will be knocking on your door.”
