Pictures: Arson arrest after car set alight in Crawley

A person has been arrested on suspicion of arson and possession of a knife after a car was set on fire.

Police and firefighters were called to the scene in Colet Road this morning (Friday April 29).



Crawley Police tweeted these photos and appealed for witnesses. Call 101 quoting 113 of 29/4.

A police spokesman said: “Car fire in Colet Road, Crawley.

“This is being investigated as a deliberate ignition.

“Suspect found close by and arrested for arson and possession of a utility knife.”
