Police appeal for witnesses to stable arson attack

Police have appealed for witnesses to an arson attack in a stable.

Five fire crews were called to the scene in Old Hollow, Worth, at 9.54am on Friday (September 25).

A spokesman said a 10m by 3m single story stable block was destroyed by the deliberate fire.

Firefighters used four hoses to put out the blaze and protect nearby buildings in a field.

Crews were stood down at 11.55pm.

Two crews from Crawley, a Turners Hill crew, Reigate crew and command unit from Haywards Heath attended.

No arrests have been made.
