Police hunt after man flees Crawley crash scene

Police are hunting for a man who ran off after a rental car crashed in Crawley.

A man thought to be in his early 20s ran towards Three Bridges railway station after the car left the road at Ridley’s roundabout at 8.10pm yesterday (Sunday November 1), police said.

The silver Ford Fiesta partially blocked the road at the Balcombe Road/Worth Park Avenue junction.

The man had dark hair and was dressed all in grey.

People with information were asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 1517.
