Police raid at Eastbourne house

Police raided an Eastbourne address and discovered dozens of cannabis plants inside.

Officers executed a drugs warrant at the house in Lower Road shortly after 9am on July 8.

Inside the property, Sussex Police said officers found 24 immature cannabis plants, a quantity of dried herbal cannabis, and equipment associated with the growing of cannabis plants.

The cannabis, plants and equipment were all seized.

Following the incident, police said an Eastbourne man attended a voluntary police interview and was given a caution for producing a controlled Class B drug.
