Police reassure public after reports of 'man with a gun' outside Crawley Hospital

Police officers were alerted to Crawley Hospital after reports of a 'man with a gun' this afternoon (Friday, May 22).

According to Sussex Police, reports came in of a man wielding a gun in the hospital car park but nothing was found when officers arrived at the scene and searcehd the area.

A police spokesperson confirmed no arrests were made but there was not believed to be a threat to the public.
