Police respond to Crawley ‘altercation’
Police were called shortly after 3pm on Friday (August 14) to reports of an altercation in Crawley.
It was reported that one of the people involved had a knife, police said. Officers attended and conducted an area search at the reported incident near Broadfield Barton, but the suspects were not located.
A spokesman added: “Police are maintaining a presence in the area and enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 947 of 14/08.
“Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
