Police have served a sacked lorry driver a notice of intended prosecution after a video of his dangerous driving was posted on YouTube.
Matthews (Sussex) Ltd sacked the 52-year-old after a dashboard camera in a vehicle following one of its lorries showed him driving it the wrong way on a roundabout in Turners Hill on April 29.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said the man has been served the notice and would be interviewed later this month.
The Crawley earthworks company sacked him the day after the video was posted.
The green truck was filmed driving south on the B2028.
The driver went past a school using both lanes of the road. The truck overtook a car it was following by driving on the wrong side of the road approaching a mini roundabout.
The driver continued to drive into the path of an oncoming vehicle, which was approaching the roundabout from the opposite direction.
