Update: Man ‘stable’ after being knocked unconscious in Crawley attack

A man is recovering in hospital after he was left unconscious and bleeding heavily from the head in a Crawley shopping parade.

Police and paramedics were called to an assault in Broadfield Barton at 1.27pm on Wendesday (November 11).

A police spokesman said the 56-year-old local man was in a stable condition in Royal Sussex County Hospital this morning.

Witnesses have been asked to contact police by emailing 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or calling 101 quoting serial 662 of 11/11.
