Women arrested over fight at Crawley shopping parade


Two women have been arrested on suspicion of affray at a Crawley shopping parade.

Sussex Police was called to reports of two women fighting in Broadfield Barton, Broadfield at around 10.50pm on Friday (July 3).

A spokesman said: “On arrival officers found a 25-year old and a 34-year old woman, both local, with facial injuries. The 34-year old was treated at Crawley Hospital for her injuries.

“Both were arrested on suspicion of affray and later bailed to August 8while enquiries continue. “

PC Katie Breeds said; “There were a number of people in the area at the time and we are asking anyone who saw what happened to contact us via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting serial 2004 of 03/07.

“You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously via 0800 555 111.”
