Officers were called just before 11.30pm on Thursday August 13 to a report of cars screeching around Imberhorne Lane.

Police were also called by security guards on the Birches Industrial Estate in East Grinstead at around 9.50pm on Friday August 14 because a group of about five cars were ‘drifting’ and performing ‘donuts’ in the turning circle outside the premises.

Sergeant Graeme Prentice said: “We take these reports very seriously and will not tolerate dangerous or anti-social driving on the county’s roads. Any offenders caught could face having their vehicles seized.

“We would urge residents to report any such incidents via the Operation Crackdown website www.operationcrackdown.org.”
