Death crash driver arrested on drugs charges
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision that occurred on the A270 Old Shoreham Road, Hove, shortly before 1.15pm on Saturday (September 2).
A black Toyota Celica car driven by a 38-year-old Brighton man was in collision with an 85-year-old woman pedestrian on the Old Shoreham Road near its junction with Lullington Avenue.
Anyone who saw the collision and who has not yet spoken to officers is asked to email [email protected] or phone 101, quoting Operation Parakeet.

Hide AdThe driver of the Toyota was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving whilst over the prescribed limit of a specified drug, and being in possession of a controlled drug.
He has since been released under investigation.
