Dick and Dom in Da Zoo

A RECORD numbers of visitors flocked to Drusillas at Alfriston to see children's TV stars Dick and Dom.

Traffic on the A27 was brought to a halt as vehicles queued for car parks.

Numbers totalled more than 4,000 '“ the largest ever recorded in the zoo's 84-year history.

Joining Dick and Dom, stars of Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow, were Smarteenies presenter Mark Speight, CBBC presenter Gemma Hunt, Fifi and Bumble, author Laura Jones and Poppy Cat and SpongeBob SquarePants.

The starts all received a plaque on the Drusillas Children's Walk of Fame

The ceremony was hosted by Dave Benson Phillips.
