Drink-drive motorist banned from the roads

A drink-driver who was stopped by police in Crawley has been banned from the roads for 14 months.

Richard Faithfull, 24, was arrested after police stopped him on suspicion of speeding in Sylvan Road, Crawley, at 11.30pm, on December 16.

Faithfull, of Oak Close, Borden, Kent, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (January 14).

He was banned from driving for 14 months, fined £600 and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
