Consultation has opened on a bid to extend a Crawley primary school.
The county council’s proposals would create 90 places at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Primary School in Hare Lane, Langley Green.
The school’s capacity would rise to 420 from next September.
The works include two new classrooms, a netball court, extensions to three classrooms, its main hall, PE store and servery and internal layout reworking.
The planning application’s design and access statement said: “The local and national increase in pupil numbers has led to these proposals.
“The school will now be able to provide two form entry, giving valuable school places to the local community.
“The design to match the existing building will ensure the extensions blend seamlessly and provide suitable learning space for both existing and future users of the school.”
Consultation runs until August 21.
