Cllr Gadd expresses her very close link to this charity as her son who had spina bifida died at 31 years of age and she is very aware of the need for support services for individuals with these conditions and their family/carers.

The chairman of Rother District Council is very pleased to announce the support of former MP Edwina Currie as the after dinner speaker. Edwina having been former health minister is also very passionate about SASBAH and the essential work it does in our community with some very disadvantaged people.

Edwina has been called "the best communicator the Tories have," and "a brash and energetic life force." Her life to date has been summed up by fellow writer and MP Sir Julian Critchley: "Edwina Currie has a brass neck, a silver tongue and a golden pen."

Don't miss this spectacular evening and all for a very worthy cause. Tickets are available to this event at the cost of 30 each.
