Grass is at its best, with sugar levels lifted by the sunshine, and weather permitting we will be silage making by the end of the week.
The ground is very dry, which suits us on the clay, but rain is on its way I am told. We have finished drilling all our maize and it is up at Tillington already, benefiting from the warm soil conditions and the sunshine. It will be glad of a drink just to keep it going.

Hide AdGwenan's chickens suffered another fox atttack in broad daylight last week. The trap was set with the dead chicken as bait, only to find Brock the Badger in the cage next morning!
