Pick, taste and track your way along the Worth Way and Downs Link in two new walks called ‘Food for Free’.
Guided by a seasoned foraging ranger, you will sample the hidden bounty that lives and grows in the countryside.
Discover the wild plants and flowers used by our ancestors for food and for medicine, before finishing the day with a cup of warm nettle soup.
Book your introduction to our ancestral heritage on the following dates:
• Friday 29 May - Downs Link
Meet at Southwater Country Park Visitor Centre, RH13 7UN.
• Saturday 30 May - Worth Way
Meet at Worth Church, RH10 7RT.
Both walks start at midday and will finish at 2.30pm. Tickets cost £5 per person. Booking is essential and children must be accompanied by an adult.
