Facelift for Shoreham Park pavilion

SHOREHAM Rugby Club plans to spend £25,000 to give the pavilion and cafe, in Buckingham Park, Shoreham, a facelift.

SHOREHAM Rugby Club plans to spend 25,000 to give the pavilion and cafe, in Buckingham Park, Shoreham, a facelift.

Adur Council says it has secured the future of the building by leasing it to Shoreham Rugby Club, which will pay for the project.

The club says the cricket pavilion is widely regarded as an eyesore in Buckingham Park and has attracted much vandalism in the past.

Adur District Council director of services, Peter Latham said: "Improving community facilities is a council priority and we are delighted to be working in partnership with Shoreham Rugby Club.
