Firefighters called to commercial kitchen fire in Crawley

Firefighters were called after a deep oil fryer caught fire in a commercial kitchen.

The two Crawley crews left for the business premises in Faraday Road, Crawley, at 6.26am on Sunday (April 26).

Firefighters used a fire blanket, two sets of breathing apparatus, two wet chemical extinguishers and a hose reel to put out the flames, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said.
