Firefighters free five people trapped in Crawley lift

Firefighters have freed five people who were stuck in a town centre lift.

A fire service spokesman said the Crawley crew was called to The Boulevard at 2.30pm yesterday (Sunday March 13).

Five people were stuck between the third and fourth floors.

The spokesman said firefighters used tools and freed them within 15 minutes.
