Firefighters put out car fire on A23 Crawley

Crawley fire crews were called to a car fire on the A23 this morning (Thursday September 3).

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the two crews were called to a roundabout in Ifield Avenue at 7.36am.

Firefighters used two hose reels and breathing apparatus to put out the accidental fire.

Crews left the incident with Sussex Police at 7.54am.
