Firefighters were called to a back garden fire.

The Crawley crew left for the house in Chaldon Road, Broadfield, at 6.16pm on Friday (May 1).

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the accidental fire destroyed fencing and hedging. A garden shed was damaged.

Firefighters used a hose reel to put it out.
