Firefighters put out a car fire in a petrol station.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to the entrance of the Pease Pottage services station in Brighton Road at 9.01pm on Friday (February 27).

A spokesman said the Crawley crew used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel to put out the small accidental fire.

The four-wheel hybrid car was towing a boat on a trailer when its engine compartment caught fire.
