Flash flooding warning

A FLASH flooding warning has been sent out by the Environment Agency and Met Office for parts of south-east England today (Tuesday).

After the dry and hot weather, thundery showers are expected to develop today which could result in localised flooding.

The risk of flooding from rivers remains low, however some local disruption may occur as between 25 and 50mm of rain could fall in some places.
