PRIEST-IN-CHARGE: We are delighted to announce the appointment of Father Brian Murphy as our next Priest-in-Charge. Father Brian is 52 years old, married to Catherine, and they have a 10-year-old daughter, Ella. He was ordained Priest in 1998 in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Clifton where, as a local priest-monk in an urban monastic community, he was frequently asked to preach at the Cathedral in Bristol, and the surrounding larger parishes. The appointment to Fletching will be his return to ministry, having recently transferred his Holy Orders from the Roman Catholic Church. Father Brian is able to accept this house-for-duty post as he and Catherine are co-directors of a ‘private practice’ offering meditation retreats for clients with a wide range of serious personal issues. He has strong links with a central London based clinic and various practitioners.

Father Brian’s Licensing Service will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday September 29 with the Bishop of Chichester officiating.

YOUTH CLUB: The club meets tonight, Friday, at 7pm.
