Flower show remembers the fallen
Three Oaks Gardening Club held their annual Summer Show on Saturday.
Show Secretary Mary Warrington said: “We were very lucky to have a sunny day, so that visitors were able to sit and chat outside over a cup of tea and cake.
“There was a good range of exhibits, across all classes, including some evocative flower arrangements to represent World War 1.”
The overall winner on points was Andrew Warrington, second Mary Warrington and third Ann Bourne. The ‘Best in Show’ cup went to Rosemary Gunther for her beautifully embroidered table cloth.
