Full house for Moira Male Voice Choir
The Moira Male Voice Choir sang in front of a "full house" at Christchurch Methodist Church on Saturday evening.
Organiser Barry Turnwell commented: "The singing was really beautiful and varied and well appreciated by all present. In addition the collection was a superb 475 and after giving a donation to the choir the balance was divided between the charitable Home and World Mission Funds.
"The Choir returned to the church and took part in the morning service and this helped to make it a really wonderful weekend. Sadly they have had to return to Leicestershire but we will try and encourage them to visit us again."
The next major event coming up for Christchurch is its 21st Annual Festival of Flowers on May 23-25.
