The Friends of Goffs Park are hosting a summer fayre on Sunday (July 17) with the help of Game of Thrones star Peter Vaughan.
A spokesman said: “The family fun day is suitable for all ages and has many activities and performances to take part in and watch from noon-5pm.
“There will be live music from The Coasters, Small Town Kids and Just Dylan, with dance performances from DMT and KC’s Dance.
“Kids can take advantage of a bouncy castle, face painting and a variety of games.
“Sweet and cake stalls will be on offer along with refreshments and ice creams, or why not take a picnic?
“Keen cyclists can gain expert advice from Dr Bike who will be there along with Martial Art Schools.”
Goffs Manor was once the home of actor Peter Vaughan, better known as the character Grouty in the popular television series Porridge.
More recently he was Maester Aemon Targaryen in Game of Thrones.
He lived at Goffs Manor until 1986 and was invited pull the first pint when it reopened as a pub in 2000.

The pitch and putt course will also be open from 10am and the miniature railway will be open from 2pm-5pm.
