Gardener’s first event in new hall
ON Saturday afternoon Udimore Gardeners watched Nadia Florence-Marshall, a local floral artist, present ideas for Christmas decorations using greenery from gardens, surrounding hedgerows and woods.
It took place in Udimore’s recently opened St. Mary’s Community Hall, a venue which collected many compliments from the audience.
Linda Harland said: “The airy, peaceful beauty and the very modern facilities of this Community Hall belie its sometime troubled development.
“Local groups such as our gardening club are now making full use of this hall which can be hired by contacting 07895 639773.”
