Goulish theme to folk music evening

Folk on the Coast celebrates its first birthday on Friday by adding a halloween flavour to the evening of folk music.

Witches' hats, broomsticks and scary pumpkins will all be present as well as some appropriate songs during the night's entertainment.

Roger Nash, from Folk on the Coast, said: 'When we started, we had no idea how long Folk on the Coast would last.

'The fact we are one-year-old shows that there is a real demand for this sort of music in the town and just how enduring the '˜folk' scene really is.'

The event starts at 8pm at the Regis Centre and entry is free.
