Guilty plea to sexual assault on cabin crew member

A man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a member of cabin crew staff on a Gatwick-bound flight.

Clint Norton, 50, pleaded guilty to the charge at Crawley Magistrates’ Court.

Melanie Wotton, prosecuting, on May 20 said the victim’s ordeal lasted for an hour and a half.

Ms Wotton said: “Mr Norton was sitting in one of the seats, and as she walked past he stroked her leg in a circular motion.”

She added: “He was a touchy sort of guy and saying things like ‘you look nice from the back’.”

It was heard he blew kisses at the victim.

The hearing was adjourned to June 16 for a probation report.

Norton, of Curzon Crescent, Barking, Essex, was released on unconditional bail until the sentencing.
