Striker Matt Harrold is on the bench for Crawley Town today for the first time since undergoing knee surgery at the back end of last season.
The fans’ favourite returned to pre-season training this week and is amongst the substitutes for Reds’ friendly with League One side Millwall at the Checkatrade Stadium.
Former Liverpool and Sporting Lisbon midfielder Yalany Baio is one of two trialists on the bench, the other appears to be 28-year-old defender Dieumerci Vua, who has mainly played in France.
Baio, who trialled for the club back in March under then Reds boss Mark Yates, featured in Reds’ midweek victory over Worthing.
Crawley: Mersin, Young, Connolly, McNerney, Blackman; Smith, Payne, Boldewijn, Banton, Roberts, Collins. Subs: Beeney, Tursun, Yorwerth, Vua, Garnett, Arthur, Tajbakhsh, Baio, Bawling, Clifford, Harrold.
Millwall: Archer, Hutchinson, Craig, Williams, Abdou, Gregory, Wylde, Romeo, Webster, Morison, O’Brien. Subs: Forde, Thompson, Onyedinma, Nelson, Ferguson, Worrall, Twardek.
