The next meeting is on Monday 21 March at 2pm when we welcome Ray Bloomfield giving us a talk on Rudyard Kipling and his two homes.

At our meeting in February we heard one of our members telling us of her experiences working in the NHS over many years. She started her talk about her early life living in Germany and how she came to England to improve her English. She eventually settled in Hastings, got married and had a family. It was a very interesting talk and we thank Christa very much for giving us an insight into her working life.

There will be excellent prizes to be won on the raffle including a large Easter egg kindly donated by B & M Store, Ravenside branch and a selection of books and puzzles in the library to be bought or borrowed.
