History talks for lights cash

Memories will again be revived at the latest Slide into the Past evening in Bognor Regis.

Observer writer Sylvia Endacott will be presenting some recent additions to her extensive collection of views of the town on November 14 at the Recital Hall in Sudley Road at 7.30pm

This now annual event is once again being held to raise funds for Bognor Regis seafront lights.

Seafront lights chairman Jason Passingham said the event was a fitting end to the group's busy event calendar for the year. "It is now a firm favourite among our many supporters.

"There is always plenty of lively banter between Sylvia and the audience, with the slides often provoking interesting recollections, giving the pictures a social and human dimension," he explained.

Tickets for the slide show, costing 5, must be bought in advance. They are available from Heygates Paperback Exchange, 67 High Street, Bognor Regis.
