Horsham students set to create world record

STUDENTS at Tanbridge House School in Horsham will be helping to produce a world record breaking radio advertisement. As many voices as possible will be recorded within 90 seconds with the script written by the students themselves.

Working with them will be John Calvert, managing director of Airforce.

He said: "Attempting to create a world record radio advert has been a dream of mine for some time and partnering with Tanbridge House School is the perfect opportunity. Children are key listeners of the radio and I am so excited about expanding their knowledge on the industry and helping them create the perfect script for this very special project."

The record attempt will be part of a new learning experience for the pupils at Tanbridge House and the initial phase takes place on Monday next week when John attends a year 8 assembly to discuss what it takes to create a powerful message on the radio and how adverts are conveyed by the listener.
