Hospital issue a talkingpoint for residents

Bognor Regis MP Nick Gibb on his annual trip to Homecroft House retirement flats in Bognor Regis discussed a range of local and national political issues with residents.

'There were about 25 people there and we discussed issues ranging from the difficulties of using a wheelchair in the town and the problems of using scooters where there are insufficient drop kerbs,' said Mr Gibb. 'We also discussed the campaign to save St Richard's Hospital A&E unit, education, schools and standards of behaviour,' he said. 'It was an enjoyable session. I learned a lot from the residents and I hope they enjoyed my responses to issues raised and I hope to repeat the exercise next year.'
