WHAT’S HAPPENING AT HOLY TRINITY?:As many of you know, the church was more of less closed for business a year ago! However a few people have been working hard to keep the only church in this village open. Currently there is a communion service on the first Sunday of each month at 9.30am which is followed by a time of getting to know one another over coffee, tea and cake. The third Sunday of the month at 4pm, we are running another informal time together for the whole family. The aim is to look at real life issues and see what the Bible says about them. Some of the subjects looked at already are: ‘does God care about me, what about ‘suffering’, why is forgiveness so important’, ‘poverty’, and God’s provision’, to name a few. Anyone and everyone are warmly welcome.

NOVEMBER 16th: after the afternoon service we will be having a bonfire and BBQ behind the church, invitations with RSVP’s will be sent out nearer the time. On SATURDAY 20th DECEMBER there will be a carol service followed by mince pies and mulled wine. If you are interested in getting involved, whether it is joining in on the 1st &or 3rd Sunday, helping to keep the graveyard tidy, or if you would like someone to pray with you or to find out more about the Christian faith then please give us a call on 015809 860649, Richard & Annabelle Blackaby,

‘YOU AND ME’ Questions: Is it OK to want more? Why do some have nothing? Can I make a difference? Sunday 18th October at 4.00pm Holy Trinity Church Hurst Green. Each month the winner will be able to select a delicious cake made by Mark Roby ‘YUMMY’ If you’ve not tried one of Mark’s cakes, you’ve missed an experience of a life time!
